As a teacher, I believe in a well-rounded art curriculum that focuses on art making, art
history, art criticism and aesthetics. Through teaching all of these aspects of art, students
will better appreciate art and its role in society. I believe in a postmodern approach to art
education, incorporating technology, contemporary themes and creating more student-centered lessons.
